Al-Thalab Long Range Patrol Vehicle Debuted at SOFEX Exhibition, Orders Received At Show.
Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing LLC are very pleased to announce the recent launch of the Al-Thalab Long Range Patrol Vehicle at the recent SOFEX Exhibition in Jordan.
Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing LLC (JLVM) is a Joint Venture between Jankel Armouring of the UK and KADDB of Jordan, and has been set up as an independent commercial company to manufacture soft-skinned and protected vehicle programmes.
This multi-role vehicle has the payload capacity to carry the 4 crew, weapons, ammunition, stores, water and fuel for a 10 day mission.
During the exhibition JLVM received an order from the Jordanian Armed Forces ( JAF ) for an undisclosed number of Al-Thalab vehicles. Further more an order has also been placed for the armoured Al-Jawad vehicle by JAF.
Al-Jawad, developed by Jankel and KADDB is a 10 person Armoured Troop Carrier, comprising of an armoured body and standard 4 x 4 Ford F-450 Super Duty chassis, which offers automotive performance, payload and operational capabilities in excess of vehicles currently utilised in many Internal Security Roles.
In addition to the order from JAF, negotiations are underway with the Jordanian Public Security Department have stated their intention to purchase Armoured Toyota Land Cruisers for their public order fleet.
