ENVIRONMENTAL PHILOSOPHY
POLICY STATEMENT
Jankel have a strong history of commitment to excellence, in everything we do. We have a responsibility to reflect this in the way we protect the environment, both locally and globally, and to ensure our values are reflected in our processes.
As a company we are committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of our activities on the environment.
To achieve this we will:
- Actively manage our procedures to minimise use of raw materials and energy
- Minimise toxic emissions through selection of our vehicle technology and power sources
- Actively promote recycling internally and amongst our customers and suppliers
- Source and promote products to minimise the environmental impact of our production and distribution
- Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to us
- Actively minimise greenhouse gas emissions and using carbon off-setting where appropriate
- Engage employees in improving our enviornmental practices and encourage suggestions for improvement
Our manufacturing facility in Jordan (JLVM) has the following policy statement:-
"For every vehicle it produces, JLVM undertakes to plant a tree and nurture it. Each tree will be planted in areas where maximum enviornmental or social impact is acheived"
